Dr. Gregory Sempowski is Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine and Pathology at Duke University Medical Center. The Sempowski laboratory is currently focusing on constructing strategies to counter age-related and autoimmunodeficiency related thymic immune depletion. These strategies include regenerating the thymus to stimulate thymopoiesis and to determine the role of CD7 and CD28 in the development, homeostasis and function of Regulatory T cells.
